What are some ways you broke up with your boyfriend or girlfriend? How did past partners break up with you?

"we need to talk" = "its over"

"lets have a trial separation" = "if i dont notice your absence in a month, its over"

i have had 3 boyfriends

1. he broke up with me after coming back from the army. he went to his ex, slept with her and stayed with her for a week and i didnt know.

2. he was a drug ddict and kicked me out. that sums it up

3.i broke up with him. the sad truth is, i fell out of love...i told him i just wanted to be friends and that i was sorry. he still lives at my house along with 2 other roommates and we are good friends. some people seem to think this is strange, but the guy i am seeing now is very trusting. so it works out

the worst way is saying mean things...or over the internet of phone...telling them in perosn is the hardest but the best

i broke up with one of my friends saying "i think its better if we remain just friends"
