You're jealous because he's in a relationship with someone else, and he must be spending time with her sometimes.You're upset when he doesn't call because it symbolises that he doesn't care. Your brain is telling you very loudly that he's a jerk and yet your body and heart are both telling you that you really care about him. There's bound to be major rollercoaster emotions here because there's a conflict between logic and emotion.

If he loved you, he would break up with his girlfriend. Because he doesn't, or hasn't broken up with her yet, doesn't mean he doesn't like you or care for you, but if he was at all intelligent or kind, he wouldn't be stringing you along.
