I'd almost bet that the Antelope has a freewheel unless it's a newer model. As for gearing, it just depends on your strength and the conditions you ride in. I like it around 2.6:1 with small rolling hills and plenty of flat areas, medium winds. I'm riding a 42/16 now and pretty happy with that.

You can spend $20 to $150 to convert (or more, if you really go nuts with it)...there are lots of ways to do it and it just depends on what you need and the quality of the parts you get. A simple cog-spacer kit is on the cheap end, and the cost goes up if you want a tensioner, dedicated hub with freewheel, different chainrings, etc. You'll probably need to get a set of shorter chainring bolts and those run from $4 to $20 for five. I'd also recommend a brand new chain.

It's deceptively complex to set up a singlespeed properly, so you'll probably need a shop mechanic's help to make sure everything is done right. It's not hard, but if you're unfamiliar with things it'll just be frustrating when you run into chain tension/alignment issues. If you want to give it a go yourself, you can always get help here or head to the bike shop later if need be.

Hope this helps...have fun with the project! :o)

It would be easier and cheaper to just replace the rear derailleur. You could remove the derailer and shorten the chain. You need the rear derailleur to take up the chain slack on any gear changes.

First of all u have to educate those hindus who are being converted. Next u should know why those hindus are accepting conversion and the problems they are facing. U should make them understand that after conversion Christian Missionaries will leave them to dogs. Bring this matter to the notice of Ramsena activists. U can bring this matter to the Police too and get their help if they are really willing to help.
