Are there any health/medical insurers who will take on existing conditions and also phychiatric conditions/?
I know most won't accept an existing condition, but was hoping someone out there might know of a company and also if they take on existing phychiatric care as it may be linked to a physical problem.

If an insurer did then they would be on the road to becoming bankrupt. Insurance is taken out to cover the unexpected mishap/misfortune. In your case they would know that without a shadow of doubt that there would be claims on your policy - they are a business, not a charity!

Hi,
When signing up with a Health/Medical Ins Company - they often check your basic blood test - pressure and urine. no other test are required. Not disclosing any other illness specially phychiatric or psychological would be advisable - since none of the INS comp conduct these test.
If you do disclose at the time of signing - they will have a clause that will not include current illness.
Or the only option is if you do wish to be honest and let them know - then you can get companies to include them but your premium on such policies will be high.
Since it is a service you are buying - i would recommend to call few of the INS people that you will "not" sign up with anyways or agents that are not known to you - ask then questions and get all the clarifications sorted..... then pick a yellow pages of your local citi - and call a totally different agent of the same company and not disclose any illness that will not be covered or will end up increasing yoru premium.

Unlikely - it really depends on the condition. The best thing you can do i make application with several insurance companies at once, so you do not have to admit that you have ever been denied coverage. Companies like Anthem are accept/decline which means if they take you then they have to take you with all your conditions.

Its going to depend on the problems. Hopefully you are in state where there is a high risk pool for people who are otherwise unisurable
