Not all British are like that. Most of them always get drunk in bars or pavements and make a scene by crying, shouting or vomiting but still there are some good and polite Brits out there.

Just yesterday I met quite a nice family of Brits. A couples in their fifties with their son. OK, this is south of France, I saw them getting lost and were about to enter a dark alley. I stopped them in time CUX this alley is famous for illegal north African immigrants hiding there and robbing pass by tourists. I asked where they're going and they told me the name of their hotel in a particular area. They said they couldn't find a taxi though they've been looking for ages. I said,' jump up to my car and I will drop you there'. On the way there we chatted amicably and they told me they live 100 miles from London, something like Leicester, I am not sure. On arriving their hotel the lady forced a ten Euro note to me even I insisted I don't want it.

i've got in no way complained approximately British foodstuff... Why, merely the day previous i grew to become into thinking how fortunate i could be if i ought to flow to a British Pub and order Bangers and Mash, or Curry, or Fish and Chips... You too. you're able to desire to comprehend there is extra to American foodstuff than Hostess Twinkies and McDonald's. There are various nice interior reach alterations merely off the bat i will think of of: New Orleans, Boston, long island, Chicago, San Francisco, all offering unique delicacies that ought to knock your socks off. i'm American and that i've got not been to a McDonald's considering that 1997. a problematical element to do, yet I did it, and am happy with this milestone. extra advantageous checklist than you, i could wager.

First of all: who said that only british do that??? If you speak any italian, try and stand next to an italian group outside a foreign restaurant, or coming back from a trip abroad. A friend of mine came back from Greece, where I can assure their dishes are not only delicious, but very similar to italian ones, and the first thing he said was: "They tried to poison me!".....

Basically it isn't the nationality that determines a behaviour, but education. In the past only "well off" educated people could afford to have a holiday abroad, and they knew what was in store for them in terms of weather and food.

Now everyone can afford a 2-week-in-the-sun holiday and, as it is easier to notice an uneducated/noisy/rude person compared to a quiet and well behaved one, it looks like british turists are always complaining.

We're not used to the heat but the food issue is something I can't understand!

I used to work beside one girl who would take loads of batchelor's noodles with her on holiday because she 'didn't like the food'. She also added that she couldn't be doing with the locals or the heat either! We wondered why she even bothered going on holiday!

    Not everyone is like that.

In their defence, Britain is really quite cold all year around, so they may not be used to the temperatures like people who live there are.

When I go on holiday, I dont complain about the weather or the food.

Thats the whole point of going on holiday - new experiences.

I am from England, so I can assure you not all of us are like that.

Some people are just too miserable for their own good and make a career out of moaning about anything and everything at home as well as abroad but we are not all like that.

Because ignorance doesn't discriminate. There are Irish and Americans who do the very same thing.
