is it harder for a girl to earn her gold award or a boy to earn his eagle award?

i am a girl scout currently working on my gold award. i would like others opinions on which is harder?

i have been thinking about mine for over a year. feb would be a yr since it was actually approved?

    I would say that the Gold Award is more difficult to earn, as the girls working on the award don't seem to have the support system that boys working on Eagle have. What is a shame is that the girls who earn the Gold Award are not recognized the way an Eagle Scout is recognized. The girls should get a special Court of Awards for the Award, rather than the end of the year "and these girls earned the Gold Award" side note during bridging.

    Best of luck with your project, you can do it. Schedule time in your week to put 2 to 4 hours toward the project.
