No one really "wins" debates but, I thought Biden did better at the beginning portion. Palin got in some really good punches in the middle to near end, and both were ok at the very end.

(Five of the first seventeen answers, the ones saying Palin won, are all recent to YA, political tools, who popped up in the last few days.)
Now, to provide an impartial reply, when it came to actually answering the questions asked, to sticking to the facts, to providing proof to back up the facts, Joe Biden won in a landslide.
But the point is, many viewers won't care that Sarah Palin was working off a script, that Palin told obvious lies and that she had no knowledge of the things she replied about up to a week before the debate. Her 'experience' came all within the last week of training from the McCane camp. Because these people don't care, won't even watch the 'truth' meter on the screen, many will believe she won the debate.
It is pretty much a tie between believability and not caring if the facts matter.

Biden. I'm not sure how many people saw this but Palin was saying something she simply memorized, I'd say only about 20% of what she said was her own. She looked like a news woman giving a report with answers prewrapped for all to gawk upon. Biden is a true hero and one of the good guys in the senate, McCain is just a shadow of george. I'd even go so far as to say I'd vote for Biden if he was running against Obama, but alas, I digress. Palin is insane....anyone whom believes the earth is only 6000 years old is INSANE. Plain and simple....Or is that Palin and Simple.....Plain=Palin

To be honest, I feel it was a pretty even. I felt that Biden won towards the end on question but for an overall view, it was even. Palin did tons better than expected. Palin kicked Biden hard in the nuts with the "That joke was lame" It gave her kind of a b itchy impression but she did tons better than she did on katie couric and other things lately

Biden won the debate. He answered the question more directly where Palin danced around the issues too much. Also did anyone else hear her slip up " President McCain is the man who will leave us, I mean lead us..." LOL that was funny.

I think that joe biden won but i was very suprised by sarah palin. She did way better than i thought and i almost said that she won. There were just a few things that she siad that were so wrong and inaccurate

If it was a debate where the objective was to not answer a question, then Palin won hands down.
In all other measures, Biden was much more specific and won handily.

Biden actually answered the questions.
Palin beat around the bush a lot, and used emotional answers.
She also had nothing to say to Biden's point about McCain not funding the troops.

Biden won however the media will proclaim Palin won because it sounds good

Biden - hands down! He's intelligent and educated and he actually KNEW what he was talking about!
Palin came off as as hick from the sticks - clueless as always and WAY out of her league.

Biden I will say I agreed on a couple of points with Palin which is more than I expected
