high-raise living in Dallas/Fort Worth?
i have always wanted to live in down town Forth Worth or Dallas in a high-raise but husband is a country boy. he was offered a great job that would last 8 months or so. he will only be coming home for a few days maybe 2 or 3 times. i was thinking sense i will be living alone for a while i would take this time to move in a high- raise. my question is.. do you now or have you ever live in high- raise apt building? i have a chance to rent a loft on the 27th floor. can you give me some pros and cons of this kind of living. what part of Dallas would be best if i want to walk to most places like grocery store and restaurants. i want to do as little driving as possible. thanks to all who answers.

My friend lived on the 11th floor and he loved it. He said that he would have had to pay $1Million to buy a house with a view like his. At night, he could turn out the lights and look out in wonder.
Check at www.switchboard.com for a helpful realty agent who will send you the info on the available high-rises. I lived in Dallas for 5 years and enjoyed it..

Hurst-Euless-Bedford...it has dissimilar the terrific faculties interior the DFW section. And its 30 mintues from each and every thing. It sounds like a small city interior the great cities. they're constanly development new low-cost residences that are very on the brink of faculties. final time I counted that they had 18 person-friendly faculties, 5 jr highs, and intensely huge extreme faculties. And the have some remarkable regulation enforcement...the law enforcement officers in Dallas are style of crooked in case you be attentive to what I propose.
