When we start tipping people for jobs they're already getting paid full wages for?
Chunky, that's how I feel...if they're getting paid full wages for doing their job they shouldn't get tips unless they're styling my hair with magic.

The hairdressers tip is that she gets to keep the glorious hair she cut off.

I havent gotten my hair cut in a long time. But the last time I went to a new person. They had a guy there doing his orientation. He washed my hair and then styled it. All the woman did was cut a 1/2" off the bottom. When it came time to pay I asked for my tip to go to the new guy. My bill was $16 and I tipped him $20. She sat on her *** and did nothing. And he had told me he wasnt even getting paid for the day so I did it out of frustration over the woman being lazy.

Well it all depends on just how much she/he did (and how well she did). If she/he did a good job then a 15% tip normally. If more was done such as dying my hair or styling it - then maybe as much as 20%.

I usually do $5. For a while there I went to a fancy French hair cutter guy (coiffeur you might call him) and he charged $70 to cut my hair. So I didn't give him a tip actually.
