Your feather doona will be fine to take with you, just declare it on arrival.
Oh and if you google 'Wine and Food Festival' in NZ you will come up with other ones too.

A bit of hunting around dug up the relevant rule relating to the import of your doona. I think it says you can bring it, but it's pretty confusing about whether they want to inspect it or not. You should certainly declare it, but it will probably be OK.

Feather filled duvets are specifically mentioned in section 6.
Sorry, can help on the seafood question. Perhaps a separate question would be a good idea, but you should deliberately override Yahoo's category selection (whatever it says) and choose New Zealand - this one ended up in Australia which always happens if you accept what Yahoo says. You'll get better answers in there.

Are you travelling from Australia? In that case I shouldn't see any problems but if from any where else then you could have problems, I wouldnt risk it. I think the feathers could be a problem and even if they quarantine it, it'll be time to go home before its done.
All that linen is going to fill your suitcase right up, they do have linen in New Zealand. Perhaps just bring the pillow cases but leave the rest at home.
