Church finances question...?
is it possible to look into a church's finances through the state somehow? Could you somehow audit tax records or something?
Not who gives them money but how they spend it?

They are not a public entity so you wouldn't be able to look into their finances.
Although they should be communicating to the congregation with financial position and with a general idea of what money is going towards.
