Final Restraining Order?

I live in NJ and I just got a final restraining order against someone. What I want to know is that we both live in a small town. This person works right in town... Am I now unable to not go into town or a few places down by his office at a restaurant. The thing is I have the restraining order against him. I guess I will also call my lawyer tomorrow to make sure.

The restraining order had to do with domestic violence and lasts indefinitely.

You can go in town close to him, I don't know why you would want to if it was that bad, but you can. He just can't approach you. He cant come to your house or follow you into a store or something. If you live in a small town it is inevitable that you will accidentally run into each other and that is not illegal for either of you to do. He just can't purposely come within the distance set by a judge.

if u were the one to put out a restraining order out on him, he cannot get within a certain distance from you.Or where u live or reside!

Edit> it will be for the best of your interest that u too, if u can to stay very far away from this person, and try not to come within the said distance that is listed on the restraining order!
