How do I know if chicken is bad?

I have some chicken legs that I took out of the freezer a few days ago and I think they might be bad. They don't smell bad, but I don't know what they are supposed to smell like. But the skin is a little yellow, is that normal?

It's normal for the chicken skin to be a little yellow, as long as it doesn't smell bad or they aren't more slimy than usual you'll be okay.

Take a whiff, because with chicken you can tell by the smell.

Unless your sense of smell has been damaged by injury (a condition called anosmia), you will know bad chicken when you sniff it.
