Bob Cratchet- such a hard worker and a doting father. He was a man of such cheer to his family and the love they all gave him was the true measure of his worth. I'm glad old Scrooge mended his ways and made things right for Bob and his family and of course for Tiny Tim!

I was going to say Atticus Finch, too. He was suuuch a good role model; I was really young when I read the book, so I kind of admired him for a while.

I completely agree- Atticus Finch. Mr.Bennett would be a close second or the father from the 'Ink' series

    Hmmm, interesting....

I have to go all the way back to Pa Ingalls from The Little House series. That poor man built so many houses, barns, wells...endured getting stuck out in blizzards, trekking across wild rivers, plains covered in grasshoppers....all for the betterment of his wife and daughters.
