I don't know, but I have the same issue with the mid range color of blue (whether clear or muddy) and I used to love blue, particularly royal blue. Sky blue, light blue jean blue and that color range is fine to wear, as are the deepest shades of blue, including dark blue jean blue, although I've pretty much eradicated blue from my home's decorations. Super clear shades of blue that are not very light make me angry (except when in the sky) and those that are in the mid range if muddied. I think it must be a reaction in the brain. I don't buy the psychological mumbo jumbo that people are dishing out here.

and i was convinced they painted the walls that way on purpose! just to make me feel bad)
