Well,it depends if you have the latest laptop or the latest graphics cos most laptops make those kind of games work real slow or not work at all as they aren't meant for laptops.

Yep should do the job.
It would be crappy if your geforce was in the 6600 zone.
You should be able to get a great framerate with a 8600m GT.
:D, if you want install steam on your pc (www.steampowered.com) or something like that and try grab a demo. I don't think they have one, but you can definitely find a BIOSHOCK demo which is on the same level as COD4 to make sure it works all good.

I Don't Actually Know, But You should see Yougamers.com That Site Is really helpful. You Can Check your system requirements and And Compare It To 4 (Sometimes 3) Different Requirement Sets.

None of that matters, its the video card that matters
Really no matter what laptop you have (unless it is specified for gaming) they aren't suited for games, try it if you really want the game, but you will probably get lag at certain times or the game may just not work at all
I recomend getting a 360 or PS3 to play games
