Simple vegan/vegetarian cookbooks?
Does anyone have any suggestions for good, but simple vegan/vegetarian cookbooks?
I have been a vegetarian for some time now, but would like to start cooking for myself so that I am eating more of a variety of fruits, veggies, and whole grains as opposed to processed foods. I don't know how to cook, so I need a simple, basic guide. I also live in a smaller community so I need a suggestion that does not have recipes that require hard to find ingredients.
Thanks!

I would honestly experiment with free, well-tested recipes posted on websites before investing in a book.
Here are some websites I use weekly to make my grocery list:
The Post Punk Kitchen
Yeah, That Vegan S---
http://www.yeahthatvegans---.blogspot.com/ (note: the dashes are mine. you've gotta fill them in...and yes, it's a real site with easy and tasty recipes)
Fat Free Vegan Kitchen
VegCooking

The Vegan Chef
VegWeb

for common recipes circulate with "warm rattling and Hell Yeah / The grimy South Cookbook". those 2 are sure in one e book for particularly low-cost on Amazon. The recipes are extra handy than maximum and style super. a super beginning element. possibly the only terrific cookbook i will individually advise is "Vegan with a Vengence" via Isa Chandra Moskowitz. that's the terrific cookbook i've got ever offered and that i individually use it (quite of letting it deliver mutually airborne dirt and mud) and that is have been given a great cakes area (unlike maximum others). i might circulate with "warm rattling..." as a standard starter e book, and then circulate directly to "Vegan with a Vengence" in case you follow it.
