worried about my period?
i got my first period in june, it came a month later in july, then in august (like the third week) it looked like just old blood. i haven't had it since then, i'm still a virgin and i'm kinda worried. is this just because i just started and should be irregular for a while or is their something wrong?

Nothing is wrong. That happens to me too. It's because your body is getting used to the whole "period" thing. It will take some time before you start to have normal and regular periods. Most women don't have regular periods until they are in there late 20's. If you want, you can go on birth control to help regulate your periods. That's what im doing and it works. No more worrying about getting your period at school or at work because you will be aware of when it comes.

It's probably because you just started. I've heard of some girls starting for a few months and then not having another for like a year. I think it's really helpful to keep up with your cycle by marking it on a calander, because eventually if you become regular you will know almost to the day it will start. Also, talk to your doctor or someone from your local health department. I work in the medical field so I can tell you not to be embarrassed about asking them questions about this kinda stuff or your parents either...that's their job and it's important to them and they want to help you out. Hope this helps.

Perfectly normal.
I had that same pattern, then went without for almost six months. After that it was roughtly every other month for a while, then settled down to monthly.
Takes a while to sort itself out, as you're a virgin I really wouldn't worry just yet. x
