As with the previous answer, I suspect that it could be some nerve damage. I had and still have quite severe neuropathy, which affected my legs arms and spinal nerves, due to the chemo. It has now been almost 2 years and I still have numbness and occasional jabs of pain. What was the chemo that you had? If it was any of the "platin" based drugs such as cisplatin, carboplatin, etc.. then it is highly likely that it is nerve damage, as they are well known neurotoxins and only time and exercise is likely to help. But depending on the extent of nerve damage you may never fully recover. If it is giving a great deal of grief, you may also consider going to a neurologist who may be able to help. In my case the neurologist that I saw confirmed that my nerve damage was definitely attributed to the chemo and there wasn't a great deal that could be done.

It sounds like the chemo may have damaged the nerves in your arm. The PT will probably help over time, but it will TAKE time. It's been six years for me and I still have problems. So don't look for a quick solution to this one. Just keep telling your doctor that the pain pills aren't working--and maybe not take them at all since they don't. Pain pills can't really do your body any good.

    Maybe see an orthopedist?

I couldn't tell you what is causing the discomfort in your arm, possibly a slight disalignment or you could have slept on it wrong. As for the back pain, neck pain, and headaches, you should go see a chiropractor. It is covered on most insurances and after a few sessions those problems will be fixed. A massage would help as well.
