why people don't allow email in their profile?
Lots of times I find a ? in voting, know a great answer & have no way to let them know. I do sometimes put on my watch list & make comment later (after voting) but that can be a week later & never know if they read it. Just wondering why people don't allow email - do they not know it's kept private?

Some people have had bad experiences with obscene, threatening, disgusting or harassing emails and prefer just to avoid it. Others find it takes too much time to deal with. It's nice of you to want to try and help them, but they've already pretty much said, 'No, thanks'. Go ahead and leave the comments, tho - they may help someone else instead.
