  • Why do I keep getting heel spurs?

This is the fourth time! (Had them 10 years ago.) Just about over the one on left foot & I get one on right foot. I thought it was poor choice of footwear but now I mostly wear lace up shoes with arch supports.

  • Are there any rules for this?

Four weeks ago I lost my husband of 26 years. I don't want to advertise or do anything inappropriate but I'm wondering how long I should wear a wedding ring. Are there rules of etiquette for this? I am still wearing black and I am, of course, still in mourning. But I do want to start living again as the intensity of my loss subsides.

  • Natural help for dog's ear?

My dog has an aural hematoma like this http://www.marvistavet.com/html/body_aural_hematom... We drained it with a sterile syringe but of course it came right back. He has no apparent ear infection so I'm not too worried about his health and believe this will resolve itself with time. But cosmetically it is a disaster, as he's a Red Healer whose ears stick straight up. Now one is floppy. Do you know any natural remedies to speed the draining? Tea tree maybe? Should we splint it? Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

  • New moons on calendars?

In the U.S., from what location are they figuring? Seems like sometimes it's a day or more off from what we actually see here in Oklahoma.

  • Is kinesiology for real?

I went to a professional herbalist & she determined what to prescribe by having me hold the herbs in my hand while she pressed on my outstretched arm to test my strength. She eliminated all herbs but one and I was pretty impressed until she started calling out dosages: 2 a day, 4 a day, 6 a day, and so forth. My arm began to lose strength (supposedly) when she passed 9 a day so she told me to take 2 capsules, 4x a day. Is this for real? What has been your experience with kinesiology?

  • What's your opinion about downloading pics from phone?

I have a phone w/ camera but no way to put pics on computer. Found out I can do it w/ sync cable or w/ memory card & reader. First costs $12 and 2nd $9 so price is no factor. Any ideas about why I would prefer one to the other? It's a Nokia 6555 & card fits under the battery.

  • why people don't allow email in their profile?

Lots of times I find a ? in voting, know a great answer & have no way to let them know. I do sometimes put on my watch list & make comment later (after voting) but that can be a week later & never know if they read it. Just wondering why people don't allow email - do they not know it's kept private?

  • How to remove wing bands from chicks?

We bought 2 banded pullets to put under a broody hen. She's a game chicken & thought she might not like the metal bands. Tried to remove one but chick acted very distressed. Any simple way to get them off? Chicks are maybe 7-10 days & bands are stuck.

  • Can coffee cause a headache? Or is it the creamer?

I have a friend who gets severe migraine when he drinks coffee regularly. It is not decaf and he uses a sweet liquid creamer - vanilla flavor I think. I've suggested it might be the creamer. Any ideas or experience? (He's a college student w/ heavy load.)
