Changing to a New School and or Style?

What are some of your experiences when you decided to start a new martial art. Were you treated as an outsider at the new school? How about your old school, did you return regularly and if so how were you treated?

you can be treated as an outsider until you kumite with them and expose you skillz and leave their students sore and wondering what they will do against you in nexx\t sparring session!

Depend what are you looking for . If you want just have good exercise Tae Kwon Do is very good . If you want to use that as a self-defence maybe some KNOWN karate or kung fu school . Check on line how many students , masters are in this school . In USA is about 5000 registered martial art organizations . Everybody can register own "school" call KARATE , KUNG FU etc . Check back round . Good luck .
