Do you think this election is almost a joke?
I don't want to get too racial, but i know many people who, and there have been polls that have showed, are going to vote for obama simply because he's black. These people don't care what he says, but just because there'll finally be some color in the white house, they're are going to vote for him. Nothing against Obama. Other people don't want to vote for McCain because he's old. What the hell does that matter? I've actually seen that in magazines. These people should not be allowed to vote. I think that this election is just a popularity contest. I'm not voting, cause i honestly don't like either candidate. What do you think?

That's how dirty politics are but it's the future of our country so I personally will vote.

I always vote based on the issues and who will be the best for America.
In this case, I disagree with nearly everything that McCain says, so I definitely will not vote for him. Obama says a lot more unfavorable things than favorable for me, so I am in serious doubt about voting for him. I am also very unsure of Obama's capability to leading a nation.

That's democracy. It's like evolution: it may not be fair, but that's the way it is.
Although, you do have to consider one thing: maybe, if Obama wins, the cultural pressure as America's first black president will be enough to compel him to ACTUALLY come through on his campaign promises.
I know...fat chance, but I can dream. Aside from his stance on political issues, I like his inexperience. Maybe less experience means less time to become corrupt.
Ultimately, we'll never know until we know. Either candidate could possibly destroy us. Saying that either is definitely the better candidate is naive. You can only hypothesize.

RALPH NADER in '08!!!!!
How much worse could he do than Bozo did in the last 8 years? At least he won't die in office due to bad health, or, be a potential moving target.
To vote in Obama just because he's black is absurd. Give Ralph a chance!

You're absolutely right.
it isn't 'almost' a joke,
it IS a joke.
I hate opinionated factors in elections such as color, religion, etc..
I'm not racist either, but it should be the BEST MAN (Or woman, I wish D:, too bad Hillary was a joke.)
Either way, this election made me sick, and will continue making me sick. :l
