are there courses on sealife?
i am looking for a home learning course on sealife but am not sure where to look or where to start. I am really interested in learning about different sealife, I've been to most aquariums in the UK where I live and also been to Florida's Sea world twice. I would like to learn more but I am not sure where to start. I have seen some internet sites with information about sea life on but I would really like to do some sort of course on it where I'd get a qualification at the end so that if the opportunity arose I would be able to take a job working in an aquarium or something similar.

I'm not sure what Homeschool courses there are. Does your mom or dad use a homeschooling site? There should be something in the science section. Some aquariums offer trips, programs, camps, classes. Sometimes community colleges offer teen/youth science

While there may be classes/courses on sealife or talk about sealife during the course, I don't think there is a sealife degree.
What is it that you want to do at the aquarium, Sea World, or something similar. Do you want to train the animals, care for them, educate people about them, take care of the animals medically, do you want to work with the fishes or the mammals, etc?
Work on getting experience at an aquarium and working with animals. Decide what job you want to do and research what you need to do to obtain it.

See if you can volunteer at a local zoo or aquarium, for experience. See if there are any job descriptions that sound interesting to you and see what the requirements are (degree, swimming, prior experience, etc).

CATCH 22?
1. To get a job working with animals, you need experience with animals. This bit of truth seems to create a frustrating circle. You need experience to get a job, but you can't get experience unless you have a job, right? Well, yes and no.

Look for classes in Marine Biology at extension Universities. There are many such schools in the US, I think there should be more in UK with your history.
