Is it just me that notices how hard it is to find a job?
I have put in so many resumes and I also search all over here in the computer ...times are very tough now for the economy and it is depressing. i even got rid of my cable and totally cut down on my living expenses...even though my daughter racks my water bill up to $100 dollars a month! Mind you she takes 1 hour showers. I am having a hard tme finding another job I had a part time job but the drive was way to far and I did not get a pay raise after 1 yr being there so...I really need to find a decent job . Has any of you had this same problem lately? It is depressing to keep up these days.

Sorry to hear of your troubles. If your daughter is running up the water bill, put a stop to it. She can take 1 hr showers (and waste gallons fo water) when she is paying the bill.
I hope you find a job soon...it's tough out there for sure. I'd like something different but have had no luck but do have a job at present (and am thankful for it).
Good luck to you!

It's not just you. I had a real hard time finding work especially because I am expecting (7 months prego). I got laid off in May and barely started working this past September for $4,000 lower salary than what I am used to making. It's real bad out there. I even tried finding a part time job to make up the difference but had no luck. My husband got laid off from two different jobs this year too. All I can say keep on trying by updating your resume and post on job posts like monster, careerbuilder, and craigslist. Don't give up!
As for your daughter, talk to her to help you out by taking 10 min showers or have her pay the water bill if she is an adult.

Yes, join the millions and millions of Americans in the same boat. People always say that the health care industry is a good place to find a job. That is not so. Hospitals tend to lean to hiring flexi positions only (like myself) because they can be cheap and not having to pay benefits. They also say nursing is a good career to get into. How can you attend nursing school without funding? It's virtually impossible to get any kind of a loan now. Most people I know have more than 2 jobs just to make it by. This is so sad because I just don't see a light at the end of the tunnel at all.
