nutritional reasons. But I'm not fully there yet. I eat meat probably about once a week. Very little amounts though. I also consider fish meat also.

Im not a vegetarian, im not gonna lie i wouldnt be able to live without meat. But my friend is a vegetarian and she became one because she just couldnt stand to look at it anymore and then eat it. She doesnt judge the rest of us becase we eat meat or give us crap about it like some other vegetarians out there. She understand why we do what we do and vice versa.

I started being a vegetarian when I was 8 since I really liked animals and the idea of slaughter houses sickened me. My mom was also a vegetarian so it made it easier for me to stay on my vegetarian diet.

The high cost of meat! Not worth the cost considering I never really cared for the taste of meat in the first place. Just liked the convenience of meat!

to tell the truth, i always loved animals. i would cry for an animal before i did for a human & thats how i knew that i was being a hypocrite when i was eating the ones i loved and thats what pretty much made me become a vegan . And plus its not right. animals feel, love and bleed just like we do.

I quit eating meat for health reasons. This year coming up my goal is to quit eating fish and cut way back on dairy. My ultimate desire is to eat a diet less than 20% calories from fat.

Just watch slaughter house's animals killing process and you know why. Beside, from health side, vegetarian is good for health.

I became one because I just didn't want to think about the fact that I was eating an animal but that all changed about a year later when I realized that I love steak!
