Transporation to Hotel?
I will be traveling to NYC in a few weeks. Can anyone recommend a shuttle service or other transportation options from the JFK airport to the Midtown East area - my hotel doesn't offer a shuttle or pick-up service.
Thanks!

There are three options.
Option 1: AirTrain and (E). BEST.
Step 1: Take Jamaica Airtrain to Jamaica Station. Purchase $7 card to exit $5 system. $2 for subway entry downstairs at Sutphin Blvd-Archer Av Station.
Step 2: Take Manhattan-bound (E) train (express until 11:00pm). This travel along 53rd St Tunnel, stopping at Lex Av, 5th, 7th Avs, then down 8th Av stopping at 50th, 42nd and 34th Sts (midtown area)
Option 2: AirTrain and (A).
Step 1: Take Howard Beach Airtrain to Howard Beach Station. Purchase $7 card and use airtrain turnstile heading inside subway mezzaine.
Step 2: Take Manhattan-bound (A) train (express until 11:00pm). This travel along 53rd St Tunnel, stopping along 8th Av in midtown area at 34th, 42nd, 59th Sts.
I could give you bus information also.

My friend, take the Airtrain from the airport to the Jamaica Station, then transfer to the subway to Manhattan. The fare on the subway and Airtrain is $7.
I hope this information is very helpful. If you have any questions or need travel directions while in town, just drop me a line by clicking on the avatar and e-mail icon in the profile. I'll be glad to help.
Good luck

If you are travelling with heavy luggage or kids who like to be a "handful" then you might want to try the Go Air Link Shuttle which is about US$17 between JFK and NYC

each and every of the Walt Disney international hotel hotels grant loose transportation for the time of the hotel. reckoning on the point (fee, actual looking, Deluxe) and site, there'll be diverse sorts of transportation (maximum mostly busses, yet as well water taxis, monorails, or maybe walking paths). So, each and every of the hotels are "accessible" on account that there is loose transportation everywhere. in spite of the undeniable fact that, i could say that the "maximum accessible" hotels may be the Epcot hotel section hotels (Boardwalk inn/Villas, Yacht club, coastline club/Villas, Swan/Dolphin) because they're all interior walking distance of Epcot (actually some steps out of your room), interior walking distance (quarter-hour) or water taxi of Hollywood Studios, and centrally positioned in the hotel so bus rides to almost everywhere else (Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Downtown Disney, water parks, and so on.) will all be quarter-hour or a lot less. in case you intend to spend maximum of a at the same time as at Magic Kingdom, then decide on both cutting-edge, Polynesian, or Grand Floridian because the monorail stops at those hotels and could take you to Magic Kingdom (2-10 minutes relying on inn) or to the TTC the position you'll get a monorail to Epcot.
