Just by reading the previous answers we have proved you cannot follow just the one jockey, but the jockey can swing where your money is invested. For my $20 L NOLEN has a habit of getting some good price winners across the line in Melbourne too. OLIVER and KING are the cream of the crop and are always thereabouts.

Yeah look Kingy is a very good Group 1 jockey and you can have a lot of confidence that he'll ride well in all the big races.
But the one thing with Kingy he never seems to be able to associate himself with a superstar horse, there are not many trainers out there that think of him as a first choice.
But a fantastic and consistent jockey.
Probably an easy one to suggust but D Oliver is back to riding at the top of his ability and I've noticed this only in the last 2 months or so.
I was at the Geelong races the other day when he rode the first 5 winners and along with that should've won race 6 aswell if not for his mount missing the start.
Others to follow C Brown is in great form, V Duric has managed to put a heal in the door of some good trainers with plenty of rides on offer this spring and S Arnold is always a jockey who delivers more often then not from limited opportunities.
Should be a great spring!

Ok bongo, he is a good rider, however, I wouldn't get tunnel vision. There are many top level jockeys who step up a gear at this time of the season and you cant discount the actual horses in favour of the jockey(s) who guide them around the course. There may be some rider/horse combinations that work exceptionally well and are worth following but I don't believe that throwing your money on every Steven King mount will earn you a steady income.
Good luck and happy punting

He is good but over the Melbourne Carnival i would prefer to follow D Oliver or D Gauci, also keep an eye of Zac Purton he has showen that Hong Kong has been good for him. And there are sooooooo many more to follow, easier to follow a horse or a combo if you ask me.

Michael Rodd is starting to fire and I think it will be out of him and Damien Oliver for Jockey of the Carnival.
