Go inside Chi. union station to have a drink, eat?
I'm taking Megabus to Chicago and then Minneapolis, and I know Union Station folks do not like Megabus. Does that mean I can't go inside for a bite or a drink? (I mean buying a drink, not using a water fountain) I understand the concerns, but if I'm going to patronize a Union Station business, can't I go in? Anyone have any experiences?

The whole bottom concourse level is open to the public! There are even some shopping available. Both Union station and Ogilsvie. It is a huge food court, but not has busy as in business hours during the week. It is very typical fair of what you would see in an American Mall Food Court. We are used to tourists coming about. There are even bars in them. So lift your feet and relax a little, my friend!

What are you talking about? Where did you hear union station doesn't like bus riders? lol. Tons of homelss people hang around union all day so why can't tour bus riders? You absolutely can go into union station, its a pretty neat spot to see I suppose if your from out of town. They have a little bar in there as well. As far as food though your going to find pizza hut and your typical fast food joints. I would suggest taking a walk down the block and getting some Chciago pizza, an italian beef or a hotdot. Get something chicago is known for, why leave your state and come to chicago to eat subway or some garbage you could eat at home.
