Who thinks that the Kimbo Slice and Seth Petruzelli fight was set up?
I think it was from the start first shady thing was Shamrock dropping out then this little pink haired pussy comes in to fight at the start all I seen was complete and udder fear from Petruzelli he didn't even touch Slice and he went down then the guy starts throwing fat kid school yard blows hitting slice in the back of the head and where ever else he could Absolutely ridiculous fighting style worse then Bob Sapp no joke. I'm pissed and not just because I like Kimbo either, if I wanted to watch fake set up crap I would watch WWF or WCW all the promotions and propaganda they put out its like WWF and A soap opera in one. I am really ashamed of Kimbo I know he says it like it is, (I fight for the money!!!) I don't blame him but damn where is your PRIDE to think that you laid down for some corporate shits really made me lose respect for the man. :( If pinky took him in 14sec I could drop him with a look.
Oh yeah I forgot look at the video Petruzelli says thank you for taking this fight against me Kimbo.... Kimbo I thought was on the card along with Scamrock so how did it become Kimbo taking a fight against him wouldn't it be Petuzelli taking a fight against Slice? another bit of info that makes me realize it was all fake.
I have hated Pinky since I first saw him on UFC reality show I hope Slice got one hell of a payday. I think it was supossed to be them two from the start they just used Shamrock to promote it they knew nobody likes Seth Petruzelli. MAAAAAAAAAAN I am pissed. I bet anything Kimbo fights him again and wins it's beginning to look alot like wrestleing all the little farries............dancing all around the ring.
Task force ed yeah I heard that too but tell me is Seth that stupid? If they told him to do that and he didn't what would be the consequence of his choice? He would never fight again at least not for Elite XC or the UFC so that only leaves him with working the ice cream stand hes got the hair for it, he didn't gain all slice's fans that night if anything he made a lot of enemies so he won't be back by popular demand.
Funny to read all the responses some were very amusing and most responses showed a form of retardation hey you fighter boy with the 3 page answer who seemed to think he was gonna get my best answer award think again buddy I challenge you any time any where I will bust your scar tissue to peices, I have watched that 14 sec clip over and over and its BS whatever the facts are who knows all I know is it wasn't right Kimbo isn't god by no means Rocye Gracie would take him I dont care whatever STFU MMA is weak go back to the octagon from the UFC1 and see there calls no gloves no fight stoppage for a couple hits I guarantee if it was to the death as it should be atleast near death Kimbo would have murdered that kid period.

yes it was a set up. no one has ever been knocked out by a JAB!
kimbo had to lose, in order to lower expectations that he could not live up to. he is a good brawler but not a good all around fighter and certainly not good enough to carry a mma company.
someone else, a Big named experienced mma fighter will be the new face of the company now and that is the way it should have been from the beginning.
kimbo will bounce back as a fighter but his popularity will suffer.
once again no one has ever been knocded out by a JAB!

Seth has a great chance at beating Kimbo. Seth is a better fighter than Ken, and Kimbo has been preparing for Ken for a while. Should be an interesting fight. I say Seth wins.

Seth took sap down with the same style punch, almost idintical. Must be doing something right. He is 10-4 and he isn't a rich boy but he has to be able to fight to be 10-4 and be able to take down kimbo and sapp. Thee is crying after any fight like this. Kimbo lost, no sense in crying about it.

Nah it wasn't a set up.
But I know why Kimbo lost !
Kimbo fell foward and Seth threw like 10 to 15 punches to the head
but Kimbo thought he was tough enough to get back but then on
the like 8th punch he got stunned and couldn't get back up again.
If he was only smart enough at the time to sprawl out quicker then
he wouldn't of been TKO'd

well i don't think it was set up for kimbo to take a fall but seth did hint that they wanted him to stand and bang with kimbo to kind of give kimbo a good shot to win so the plan backfired on elitexc.
but this fight was a joke they both suck

Yes, exactly. Elite XC is struggling for money, on the verge of going under so they will set up their cash cow to lose to a UFC reject, when Gary Shaw has been adamant that he has much better fighters than the UFC. Not only that, you scrap what would have been a pretty sure win for Kimbo and put in a more well rounded and modern MMA fighter to expose your only hope to really continue making money and getting TV viewers. Why are you so upset that a guy that made his name beating up grown men that threw windmill punches, finally began fighting guys with more skill lost? Get ready to be mad a lot more then since Brett Rogers is probably going to KO him too if they ever fight.

Kimbo isn't that good an actor. He went down with a short jab, it happens. In boxing, he gets a standing 8 and recovers. In MMA, he gets some hits to the head, and I agree, in this case at least one was to the back of the head.
But there was too much riding on this for Elite. I don't doubt Ken's injury, it was pretty clear. Reckless of him. Plus, no way Bas is having his fighter go down. No way.

Considering the company doesn't want to fold because of the money they have lost, Kimbo being their "face" star, and the probability that they asked Petruzelli to keep it on their feet, you really think it was set-up for Kimbo to lose? He really should have lost the Thompson fight and it was ironic and amusing to see Kimbo get stopped on his feet.

no wasn't set up may have been a joke but elite xc has made it that way, kimbo should have lost the fight to thompson in the second round when he was getting pounded on there the fight should have been stopped. and as for no one ever getting knocked out by a jab you need to watch some boxing and happens quite a bit there as well.
