um..think of junk food ads, they cause obesity. And anorexic models of course, what message are they portraying. From a businesses point of view, marketing needs employees that eat up all your money !

You'll be hard pressed to have a good career without an MBA. And if you get an MBA in marketing, you'll be too limited if your under-graduate work is in marketing. As a 4-year major, marketing offers very little opportunity. If you want to pursue a career, get your under-graduate degree in an area that interests you. Then add the MBA.

It is such a fun career but too many people apply for the few jobs that exist. You may have to work in another field for years before you can start..
