What is the recommendation for using synthetic oil in classic cars?

With the new formulation for oils, is the synthetic better for cars from 1971 , 1959 , and 1992

    Same recommendation as the newer cars, synthetic oil is the best you can get and it won't hurt an older engine at all, it's much better than conventional oil.

    some cars cannot adapt to the synthetic oils so sometimes the old and the real oils are better. Also some synthetic oils are nixed with "chemicals" not good for old cars...

    there is nothing wrong in using synthetic oil for older cars its the real stuff

    For older engines its best to use conventional oil.

    they will have a chart in the place it is sold , just ask to look on it. I dont think it`s recommended for all cars.
