I think you fear about (4GB Ram - shared graphics memory 128 MB) is less than 4 GB and VISTA 64-bit Edition will not run !!

But "VISTA 64-bit Edition will take all 4GB RAM (if installed)." does not mean it always requires 4GB ram. So 64Bit should run.

If you install 4GB ram and use VISTA 32-bit Edition then the effective RAM sometimes becomes near 3GB. Please Read this ...

"Note, however, that if you select a 64-bit processor, you should seriously consider upgrading your system RAM. The conventional wisdom is that because 64-bit machines deal with data in chunks that are twice the size of those in 32-bit machines, you need twice the memory to take full advantage of the 64-bit advantage. So if you’d normally have 1GB of RAM in a 32-bit machine, opt for 2GB in your 64-bit computer."

the only distinction you would be conscious is with purposes specially designed to run in a sixty 4-bit atmosphere. on the grounds that sixty 4-bit is a somewhat new technologies, some purposes and drivers are no longer yet totally nicely suited, so which you would be able to journey compatibility subject concerns. in case you run Vista x86 (32-bit), you may nicely be waiting to apply all 4GB of RAM in case you enable actual tackle extensions.
