Are those medical students who are doing their electives at america allowed to do part-time job? ?

I want to go for Medical electives to US...but i am not wealthy enough to afford it all myself...are those medical students who are doing their electives at america allowed to do part-time job? how much can be earned if yes

    If you are here on an F1 visa, it doesn't matter what you're studying. You can only work in small, on-campus jobs (20 hours) or as part of an internship DIRECTLY related to your studies. And, I'll warn you - there are not a lot of those jobs and there are a lot of students who want them!

    It doesn't matter what "those medical students" are allowed to do, all that matters is what you, as an international student, would be allowed to do and the answer to that is simple. You are permitted to work 20 hours per week and all employment must be done on-campus, so working in the local store, bar, gas station etc is a no, no.
