Could the dow go below 0 pts?

Wouldn't that be cool? That would mean the corporations would have to pay us to get in the market. Would you consider investing in the market if that were to occur?

Can't go below zero, so don't worry about it.

No it could never go below 0, and I agree Paullie, Bernie, and Bush are to blame. I think I may start packing soon though, closing below 9K for the first time in 5 years is depressing!

I would leave around 7k By 5.5k everyone would want to get out of the country, and its going to be impossible to get a plane ticket :P. But to be serious, you can't go below 0 points, you can't have negative money. By 0, it means that our country's economy has failed and basically impossible to get it back up unless we get back into a war-time economy, ex: world war 3.

Start packing your stuff at about 6k, at that point only hell can be on it's way. At 5.5k go on expedia.com and get the quickest ticket out of the U.S. because 2 weeks later this country will be in flames.

Interresting idea. The fed hasn't invented negative money yet, but is very close, with the three monkeys Bernanke, Paulson and Bush
