Choose a VERY wide tooth comb; never use a brush because it'll just create frizz and static

What you can do is brush it in the shower when you still have conditioner in it. That will hydrate the curls so when you come out of the shower all you have to do is put some product in it. I recommend: Redken-Fresh Curls This is a line of curly hair products. This will give you that curly hair that you want.

    Use a bore hair brush.

Try using a hair pick instead (a sort of very wide comb)-- it prevents a lot of frizzies. Anti-frizz products help, too.
