can I still get my ex-husbands pension? On my divorce decree it says that I dont want his pension, can I stil?

My lawyer asked me if I wanted it and I said yes, than when we signed the divorce papers it said that I didn't want it. but it wasn't true.

    you can never get a persons retirement plan. even people who file bankruptcy can keep their retirement plan.

    Signing the papers probably locked you in, unless you can show you signed under duress. Nothing is truly final until approved by judge in court.

    You may have to fight your attorney.

    why did you sign a document with out reading it? You apparently screwed yourself.

    Never NEVER sign with out reading and asking questions.

    Nope, and u shouldnt be allowed to either. Man works all his life only to have some money grubber take it from him. Do whats rite and drop it.
