What colleges can I get into?

What colleges can I get into?

I right now am a High School junior and I am just wondering what type of schools I could get into. My freshmen year I got a 4.0 with 3 honors classes and I played basketball and volleyball, Sophomore year I got a 4.2 with one AP, and 3 honors, basketball and volleyball again, 4 on the APEH test. I am in a few clubs, and I volunteer at my syngagogue and have been my Youth Groups president now for 3 years. This year I am taking 3 APs and one honors class and I hope to be more involved but I am not sure if I will continue playing sports(does that Matter??). Based on this information what kind of schools can I get into and what types of SAT or ACT scores do I need to get to get into a top Tier college if possible???? Thanks

Update:

Anyone else??

Update 2:

Being involved in sports and clubs and having a job shows that you can balance a wide variety of responsibilities, and colleges like that. Around a 2000 or higher would be a good SAT score, and anything about a 25 is a good ACT score, for what you're looking at. Take the SATII too, in whatever subjects you're best at (usually the SATII math is a bit easier than the SAT math, so do that!!)

Good luck! And yes, you should at least try to go for an Ivy League type school, but look at other schools too as a "safety net" in case you don't get in.

    1 MIT

    2 Rutgers

    3 University of Illinois

    4 Lawrence University . Appleton,Wisconsin as safety

for an ivy league school i honestly don't think a 2000 is good enough

i mean....i got a 2280 on my SAT and im pretty sure i wouldn't have gotten in to an Ivy league had i applied (i didnt apply out of Texas-->too expensive)...you need at least a 2100 in my opinion

i agree with the other girl though...apply to the big names if you want, but also make sure you aren't so reliant on that....get yourself a safety net
