How do you put accent marks in an e-mail?
I have to send in a French assignment, but I don't know how to put accent marks in my email. I tried typing it in word with a key combo that my teacher gave me, but it didn't work. I have a mac if that makes any difference.

Do you have a character map?? Basically you select a letter open character map and change it for the one with the accent. in Windows machines you can utilize the method of typing a number sequence while holding the alt key down and that will produce the associated character so for example alt-131 = â alt-132 = ä and so on.
Not sure if the mac gives you this capability or not but it should have a form of character mapping to the keyboard so you can access a full range of characters.

you hold in alt and put in random numbers and it makes your accent marks I hope you find this use-fulll and your'e welcome
