How to share files between laptop & desktop?
After setting ipaddress I am From C; prompt able to ping between them but folders don't display(in spite of them being shared),how to share files between them.any way that I can share files if I can Ping between them.

Theirs A Device Called The "2.5" HDD Enclosure." You Plug It Into Both Computers And Whether Or No One Of The Computer Work The Device Will Put Of Enough Power To Get All The Files Transferd The The New Hardrive.

Hi ..your Q is abit hard to be understand. The method is simple
1) Try to ping to the pc that you wan to access the share file
2) If the ping result is success, share out the folder by right click the folder & choose share , make sure the share permission are done correctly. If you can see the share , are u using XP pro. Go to network properties , choose setup Home & file sharing option
This will carry you with the share method

share settings of physical drive of hard disk.
You can not ping each other if not put them in ethernet network. To ping you required host ip for both computers in same subnet and different mac address for both in ethernet adaptor.

easiest way is to use blutooth. its cheap. cheapest solution is to buy a cross cable costs 100rs if u got a friend in computer field tell him to make one for u then all u need is some 8core lan cable and 2 RJ 45 connectors costing less than 20rs (2rs for connector and 15Rscable)
now connect the cable and set up a peer to peer connection now transfer any file through shared folder or using $commands

1st connect to the system in which you need to share the data, and go to offline concept, enable offline and you can easily use the shared informations after you disconnect from the server.
