Ya'll ever went crazy at the store buying your baby clothes?
So my son is 5 months. Up until now we didn't have to buy him a thing! Everything was bought for us from my 2 baby showers and grandmas just sending stuff all the time. Even diapers. So I have been very thankful. So this weekend we went to Babies R Us.. and spent about 120$ on baby clothes! He needed warmer outfits. I know they don't fit in the clothes very long. So that is the only thing that is making me feel a tad bit quilty about spending that much money. Other then that, I could careless. When my son needs something.. ima go buy it. What was the most money yall have spent on baby clothes? Please tell me I am not the only crazy one here...!

hes not here yet but he has so many clothes (3 wardrobes full, one in his nursery and two that i stole from his daddy in our room (.....daddy's clothes are crammed in drawers now LMAO!) )
the most ive spent is £400...which doesn't sound so bad...but i work for the baby shop i went to and got 20% off the total price so it should of been much worse! lol.
im really bad on ebay, i love "baby boy bundles"!
the best buy i ever bought was 150 baby boy OUTFITS ( most of them are pants, top and coat) for £60!! bargain!
My boyfriend keeps going mad so i keep lying to him and telling him people have given us what im buying...lol! he thinks we know some pretty generous people!!! Lol!!!!

I wish I could spend the money. My son is very small for his age so I've been very lucky in that he can wear things for a very long time. He is a year old but can still fit into size 6-9 months. We had a lot of friends give us clothes. I think the most money we have spent clothes wise on him is maybe $50. I would suggest that you either give to friends the clothes he no longer fits in to or donate it to your local goodwill. Don't feel guilty about buying him the clothes he needs. There is absolutely nothing wrong with providing for your child :)

My baby's grandmothers always buy her clothes and I love buying her clothes myself but dred to think how much I spend. Saying that she wears everything that has ever been bought for her, and the wardrobe is full but not over full. Next, Mothercare, Asda, New look...I don't mind paying extra for good quality clothes because better quality lasts longer whereas clothes from say Primark (the baby grows stretch and get thinner with every wash)
I have recently put away everything she has grown out of and that was quite a shock how many clothes there were! but hopefully one day I will be able to pass them down to a new baby of my own.

I havn't had to go out and buy much clothes either. I have a friend who passes on their sons clothes to me. I still like going out and buying a few things myself though. But I wouldn't go to Babies R Us. They are way to expensive and you are going to spend a lot more there and get a lot less. If you want really cute clothes, I would go to Target. They have the cutest clothes there. I usually go on the clearance racks and can find tons of stuff for a buck or two. Over the summer I had got him 3 pairs of shorts and 2 shirts for $1 a piece.

im pregnant with my first baby and honestly i can say we have spent maybe 200-300 pounds on clothes but it covers both newborn and 0-3 months plus some 3-6 months. were lucky that we can actually afford it and generally whenever we see an outfit we like well just buy it. weve gone overboard mainly as shes our first and a miracle baby anyway as i was told i couldnt have kids so we intend to spoil her as much as we can! dont worry about how much you have spent, you can always re-use them for any other children you might have if you wanted or sell them on ebay etc. once he grows out of them.

I usually look for good deals online. It's not worth paying so much money for only a short time. A couple of good place to go are http://www.ebay.com/ and http://sandylynn78.ecrater.com./ Or just google a few words like baby boys clothes 12 months and search around. It's worth the time to save the money. Some places offer free shipping.

oh my gosh, my mum gave me £300 for my daughters 1st birthday as she didnt want to buy her toys and didnt know what to get. she got a further £300 from other friends and family who sent like £20 here and there.
so i took the £600 and bought her a whole new winter wardrobe, plus some toys off the net that i couldnt get instore. to be fair though, i got A LOT of stuff in an 18-24mos, all good quality, that *should* last her till well after christmas, maybe even her birthday (august)

lol..Before my son was born my mom and I went shopping for baby clothes and I intended to get practical stuff...well as soon as we got in the store we were like "oohhhh, how cute! " lol and soon our cart was filled with ridiculus pants and button up shirts for newborns! lol..I think I got a few onesies and sleepers and spent like 120 bucks on "cute" outfits. Well soon after I got home with my new baby from the hospital I had a reality check and realized that he was going to practically live in onesies and sleepers so I had to go exchange most of my outfits for things I actually needed, ....those darn cute baby clothes will get you everytime!

Yes, yesterday I was out with her getting diapers and formula. I seen the Christmas dresses and knew pictures were coming up. I spent almost $170 on her dress, socks, shoes, sweater and hair piece. The $170 included diapers, wipes and formula.
