What should I get for my dad for his b-day?

He's turning 49, and is quite picky about clothes ,doesn't like jewelry or office decorations, and isn't a fan of movies or music. Any ideas?

His favorite candy, and a card that you handmade. Also making his favorite type of cake would be nice.

Does he like tools? Get him a gift certificate for Checker Auto parts or NAPA. What kind of sports does he like? Get him something from his favorite sports team.

does he like fun foods? my dad doesnt ever want anything. i usualaly put a fun gift bag together with stuff like : pepperidge farm cookies, a chocolate sampler, nuts, candy. stuff he likes to munch on. i also throw him a family party. i get tons of helium balloons and crea paper and go all out. he appreciates it and i dont have to bug him by getting him something he hates. good luck.
