Yahoo Messenger for different users on one computer?

HI

First to let you know- Yahoo messenger allows multiple users. Anyone can sign in anywhere and have access to Their unique contact list.

So you do not have to worry about losing information.

To keep from signing in automatically we just need to change a few settings.

Start Yahoo messener

Open Yahoo mesenger to login

Uncheck the boxes (you can login with out checking any boxes on front!)

>>Remember my ID and Password

>>Sign in automatically

Login

Looking at Messenger

Click on Messenger (menu)

>>>Go to Preferences

>>>>>> General Tab

>>>> UNCHECK >>>>When I start up

>>>>CHECK>>>>>When I sign in (standby)

>>> CHECK>>>>(bottom) Signing out of Messenger sign out when I close the main window

This will prevent a saved password and logging in automatically. There is NO NEED to remove from their desktops they have their own account

So when all is said and done

Each time you sign on to login

You need to put in your login information and if you click onthe x when signing out and close the messenger window - you will be signed out and no information will be remembered because no boxes are checked

Unless you have two CPU s you cannot connect to the same messenger. But you can keep two inboxes simultaneously open if you program it that way.
