why do people get their tongue peirced? ?

The same reason people dye their hair, go shopping, ETC. They LIKE it. When you like something you do it. If you dont let tongue peircings so be it, many others do. Its a personal choice. Judging people based on their personal choice is so not cool.

Because they've allowed themselves to become "under the influence".
