Religion binds all in a specific groups ; but not the different groups .See what is happenning around the world everyday. - one group of Muslims bombing even Muslims of another category though they all believe in one Allah .See the muslims killing people of all other religions too , though the people have nothing to do with them.see some Hindus killing christians and Muslims and vice versa.How do you say that religion binds all?Religions destroys all and destroys peace .So destroy religions if it does not enable man to live in peace .

Religions never bind. There is exclusivity attached to every religion. Unless and otherwise that exclusivity is brocken the religion can never be a binding force. To do that every religions shall subject them selves to test of logic and reasoning, which they would never do.

Actually Dharma binds, not religion. There can be only one dharma for every individual under given set of circumstances.

i agree with your views....this is one out come....

but when i think about it... i feel religion isa situation..... we can use a situation in many ways.....

i mean if floods come up, politicians can either use floods to claim their opponent to be a loser not to help where he was busy checking what had his opponent done... where he could have done something good to people affected and not have just played the blame game....

similarly if preached in proper manner religion has a power to ind all... but all the things in religions have been mostly presented in tatters just to benefit from situations... i think even islam is a great religion but the preaching that is given by heads is faulty.....

The intention of the religions is to bind us but the bad people who preach them make sure to break everyone apart.

I think it's more important to be spiritual and live life the best you can... so yeah.... I agree that religion is blinding.... it constricts the very purpose of spitituality in many cases
