i doubt she'll give her son the evil eye, he's probably perfect in her eyes. i wouldnt say anything about it, id just carry on as normal. although im pretty sure id want the ground to swallow me every time i saw her.... (:

nothing...you shouldn't explain yourself to anyone in that instance! It's you and your hubby's choice to do it when you want!! if she gave me the evil eye...i'd give her a good piece of my mind, unless we did it at her house...then i'd back off a little bit! but still...get thicker walls grandma..sheesh!

nothing, just smile and eventually she will lighten up. He could have been with someone or something else that would have been appalling to her but right now she's not thinking of that of course.
