Is it possible to have a natural immunity to the flu and other sicknesses?
Of all my 15 years of living, I've never ever had the flu. I've never had the flu shot either. I've only had the stomach virus once in my life, when I was 12 and it never happened again. Usually, I don't get a cold but if I do I only get it once a year, normally when school starts. Never had the chicken pox either. Strange thing is, I used to have warts back when I was 10, but I've never had them again.
Anyway, is it possible for me to still get the flu? Have I already developed a defense to it, even though I've never had it? What about the stomach virus? Is it possible that it can reoccur?
They say that the flu virus gets stronger every year, and that's why we should go and get the flu shot every year. Should I bother to get it this year, just in case..?

You have a pretty good immune system, but more importantly - you are lucky. You may have had the varicella vaccine, which would explain why you never had chicken pox.
It is always possible to get the flu. It constantly mutates; it doesn't get "stronger" every year, its just that its constantly changing, so old vaccines don't give immunity for a new version of the virus.
With many viruses, once you've had them and cleared them from your system, you have an immunity to them. But there are hundreds of cold viruses, hundreds of viruses that can cause "stomach flu", etc. and they all have the ability to mutate.
As for getting the flu vaccine, that is your choice. Its more important for the elderly because of their weakened immune systems, but also, if you catch the flu that you otherwise would have had immunity to, you can pass it on to someone else, so its always better to have more people vaccinated - look up "herd immunity."
