how to ask someone what their sexual orientation is?

ask "do u like any guys" after she answers, say "any girls?" lol and if she IS offended, just apologise...

Bring up the topic of homosexuality. Then be like "I don't see what the big deal of it is; I'm lesbian and proud". Then say "What are your views on it?". If you still can't get a straight answer out of her, just say, "I don't want to be blunt, but what's your sexuality? Sorry if I'm being rude, you don't have to answer". Good luck, and remember it's better to ask then to always wonder =].

P.S. I have tons of gay friends, and none of them felt too uncomfortable about sharing it with me. Hope she's like that too

Just treat it matter-of-factly like an everyday question, and if she's offended at all, apologize.

Shouldn't have to worry about asking someone their orientation, but that's one of those should's, and shoulds't almost never work out.

Well i don't think there's any easy way to ask and if you really want to know, just plain ask her if she's likes girls as much as she likes guy's and maybe that'll give you an answer.

you should bring up the question "have you ever thought that you were gay or bi?"

then see how she takes that.

if she says yeah, you should tell her about yourself.

if she gives you a weird look and says no, obviously you should just lay off.

if your in a proffesional environment be careful. Otherwise drop hints that your gay. personally im direct and to the point "are you into girls at all?" . i havent been wrong at weeding them out soo far

Hm. Just ask. Idk. it cant hurt. if they arent and they reject you then oh well, they werent worth it. but yeah. theres always a chance :] just ask.
