Brickbreaker on Blackberry?

My texting is acting a little funny so I want to turn my phone off and back on to see if this solves my problem, but I have a really high score on brickbreaker and I don't want to lose it. Will it affect my score if I turn my phone off?

    no your score will be fine.

    no, your score is automatically saved to the phone's memory.

    even if the phone runs out of battery or something suddenly.
