Review my poem please?

If ever they told us not to fall,

We often did and with great withdrawl,

Who knew what lurked behind those smiles,

that left our heart shattered in piles,

Lying eyes,

exhausted sighs,

We all waited for that fateful day,

Where everything would be okay,

To hold our lover in guarding arms,

Finally be rid of false charms,

But then its too late,

Too hard to recreate,

Nothing left in your soul,

Nothing but a big black hole,

Now that you see,

What happened to me,

Dont make my mistake,

find a real love, not that which is fake.
